Swiss Eagle company was established in 1963 by Hans Noll and his wife Elisabeth Wirz, two years after taking over a watch factory sales management in Biel, Switzerland. In 1990, a second brand, Swiss – Hanowa, was born.While Hanowa is a brand of Biel, Swiss Military – Hanowa is domiciliated in Solothurn. Later, the brand Swiss Eagle came out; in 1996 the company registered Swiss Eagle in the US as a trademark but failed to maintain it afterward. In 2007, Hanowa AG signed an agreement with the Indian company Network Ltd. based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh as the sole distributor for their watches in the Indian domestic market, for minimally one year. Hong Kong-based Fortune Concept Ltd. became the company to distribute the brand Swiss Military – Hanowa in Asia as a whole.
